Since the introduction of the Local Democracy, Economic Development and Construction Act 2009 on the 1st October 2011, RCC have been working hard with customers and partners to help ensure the industry is aware of the implications of the new legislation and how they can update their processes and procedures to comply.

RCC have been presenting training courses to a number of specialist sub-contract industries – not least several sessions in the BMS industry including Lloret Control Systems and Acorn Integrated Systems; and a number of courses in the asbestos removal industry including Rhodar Limited.

Rhodar are one of several members of the Asbestos Removal Contractors Association (ARCA) of which RCC continue to be an associate member, adding an update of the new legislation in the Autumn edition of the ARCA/ATAC news “Changes to the Construction Act – Are You Ready?” – if you would like a copy of the article, please visit http://www.arca.org.uk

As a result of a series of successful training courses on the new legislation, RCC are now in the process of amending customers’ terms and conditions, procurement processes and payment process management to bring them up-to-date and fully compliant.

If you would like any help or advice on the changes to the Construction Act or how they will affect your current processes and procedures, RCC Limited are happy to help. Contact Us.
